We have a huge responsibility to our clients and the intellectual property they have created, whether it is through our Johanna M. Bates Literary Consultants, Inc., or through 4th Floor Press, Ltd., our self-publishing corporation. We receive many queries and will only accept those that meet the highest standard of content and style.
We do the work. If we say we’re going to review your manuscript, we will read every word. You will receive honest, constructive feedback.
We do not represent manuscripts that are abusive to women or children. We do not accept manuscripts that are denigrating to men or promote the hatred of men. We do not represent manuscripts that are pornographic or libelous. We do not take manuscripts that glorify the murderous Nazi regime or any totalitarian regime bent on hate-fuelled genocide.
Any attempts to contact our agency with any materials relating to hate will be funneled to the appropriate authorities.
