WRITING COACHING:
There are many, many people who have a wonderful idea for a book. Of all these people, only a fraction will actually have the discipline to sit down and write. Too many things get in the way—work, family, obligations or just life in general. Often, the largest obstacle to success is crippling self-doubt. Sometimes, what an aspiring author needs is a coach, someone to encourage them, show them valuable writing techniques and help them to develop their own skills.
If you are one of those people who have already written your work and it continues to languish in your study or basement, we can help. It may have rested unrecognized for ten or twenty years, but it will never see the light of day if you don’t take action. Everyone knows that procrastination can stretch goals beyond months into years and years.
A writing coach will identify where an author makes mistakes, where the manuscript needs strengthening, and work with the author to correct the text. Through this collaborative process, the writer improves and ultimately achieves their goal. The manuscript takes form and can be submitted to acquisition editors for traditional publishing or it can go into self-publishing if this is what the author wants.
GHOST WRITING:
If an individual wants someone else to write their book for them while allowing that individual to claim credit for the work, this is called Ghost Writing. If you have an exceptional story and would like it developed, we have the resources to write your book. Memoirs, biographies and how-to books have all too often been crafted by someone other than the author. This is our expertise. Our professional ghost writers can take your story, whether compiled from spoken interviews, letters or documents, and compile it into a fully formed manuscript that’s ready to be submitted to traditional publishers or self-published.
Contrary to what you might read on other sites, ghost writing is an exceptionally difficult field. It requires the perfect pairing of client and writer.
